Most car purchases happen in a showroom or dealership and as such manufacturers are constantly investing in new businesses so they can reach a wider range of consumers. This week, several manufacturers have opened new dealerships, here’s a brief overview two manufacturer’s new dealerships.

 

Sytner opens Lamborghini dealership in Leicester

 

Sytner Group has opened a Lamborghini dealership in Leicester, it’s third outlet for the brand, joining the existing businesses in Birmingham and Edinburgh. Over 300 guests attended the official opening event for the dealership and on show was the Lamborgini Huracan which made it’s debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

 

Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Automobili Lamborghini, Christian Mastro, stated, “The success of this important new car, even before it was officially shown to the world, demonstrates the continuing strength and appeal of the Lamborghini brand. We are delighted to further expand our dealer network in the UK, where there is very significant appeal and demand for the pure, absolute, design and performance of the Lamborghini marque.”

 

While, Richard Wynn Jones, divisional managing director for the Sytner Group, commented, “We are delighted that Lamborghini Leicester will be the third dealership location within the Sytner Group to represent this exciting Italian super sports car brand.”

 

At present, Lamborghini has 129 dealerships in 46 countries. The UK, which is served by 6 dealerships, is the third largest car market for Lamborghini worldwide, behind the US and China.

 

Desira to open Norwich Infiniti dealership

 

Desira Group have acquired an Infiniti franchise for Norwich and they will open their premium car dealership at a prominent purpose built showroom on Vulcan Road North. The centre will be officially opened on May 1st at an evening ceremony. This will be followed by an open weekend at which visitors will be able to test drive the brand’s range of models, including the new Q50 sports saloon.

 

Stuart Stone, managing director of the Desira Group, commented, “I also know for a fact they will really value the Infiniti customer experience and the exceptionally high standards of care Infiniti Norwich will offer. We are also delighted to be adding a premium marque of Infiniti’s stature to Desira Group’s portfolio of manufacturer franchises. This will allow us to offer our customers a more aspirational product and retain their custom.”
