New Ford Focus 2014

The hugely successful runaway leader in the UK Car Charts, the Ford Focus, is set to be updated and released once more. The model has been officially released at the Geneva Motor Show today alongside a number of models including the ground breaking Seat Leon Cupra.

The Seat Leon Cupra model has now been revealed as the fastest front wheel drive model available on the market. The Ford Focus model is ready to again go back on the market to rival the success of the Volkswagen Golf and the Vauxhall Astra.

 Ford Focus vs Vauxhall Astra

Ford and Vauxhall have long been involved in a battle within the UK, and new models in the form of the updated Focus this year and the new Astra next year is only set to reignite the battle. The new Focus takes more of a look of the Fiesta model which will also be placed onto the new Mondeo model. The front grille as seen on the Fiesta has been likened to that of an Aston Martin model in recent times.

The fresh bonnet on the Focus 2014 will have more obvious creases than that of the outgoing model and will also come with a set of new colours on the model. There are two more shades of blue to choose from along with the White, Black and Silver on the previous model.

The Vauxhall Astra that comes out next year, is set to be the biggest rival to the Ford Focus despite the success of the Volkswagen Golf within the European Car Market. The Focus model has been amongst the top selling models in the UK for over 12 months and currently sits just above the Vauxhall Astra in the car charts.

Internally, the new Ford Focus model has barely changed, but features such as USB connection and a three spoke steering wheel have been fitted to improve the easy ability of the model.
