Vauxhall Astra 2015 model receives launch date and price


We have learnt of brilliant news today for customers awaiting news on the brand new Vauxhall Astra 2015 model. We have received confirmation from the Ellesmere Port baased firm on a release date and price for the new Astra of 2015. An image has circulated online of what the Astra could look like and looks to be in a very similar style to the Opel Monza coupe another popular vehicle from Vauxhall. This terrific news is not also beneficial to Opel customers but also to staff at Vauxhalls as well.


As the confirmation of the manufacturing of the new astra we have heard directly from the US manufacturer will also create 700 new job vacancies for staff. Also the contract for the new Vauxhall Astra 2015 is in place for at least seven years from 2015 onwards, meaning a minimum of 160,000 cars will be built each year.

We would like to inform you that at this point in time Vauxhall have not directly released a lot of information to the general public regarding specifications of the vehicle but we do know that the brand new Astra 2015 has been confirmed to have a 114 bhp,1.0 litre turbo engine with three cylinders. Although some neat gadgets have been included and used for next years Astra some of which include: An interlink system allowing connectivity for smartphones and apps for internet radio and sat-nav. The new technology has been fitted on the Nissan Qashqai, the Mokka as a way of testing the technology before transferring it to the ever popular Astra model. 


Price and release date revealed for Vauxhall Astra 2015


The General Motors owned firm have announced that the Astra will go into production in early 2015 from their factory in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, with the car to go on sale midway through 2015. It has been revealed that the Vauxhall Astra 2015 model will retail at a price of around £16,500.
